Seawalls, Docks & Boat Ramps in East Troy, WI

East Troy, WI is about about 20 minutes from our Elkhorn shop. We build and replace seawalls, docks, piers and boat ramps for residential and commercial waterfront across Southeast Wisconsin lake country.

East Troy, Walworth County about 20 minutes from Elkhorn

East Troy is a lake-home town, with Lake Beulah, Army Lake and Booth Lake all close in. These are smaller waters than Geneva or Delavan, and the homes around them are more often year-round residences than summer-only cottages.

That changes the shoreline. A year-round lake home lives with its seawall and dock through every season, so the build has to hold up to winter ice and still serve the family all summer. Smaller lakes also mean tighter lots and closer neighbors.

Year-Round Homes on Smaller Lakes

Lake Beulah, Army Lake and Booth Lake are the kind of smaller waters where a year-round home depends on its shoreline every day. A seawall here has to hold through winter ice shove and freeze-thaw, and a dock has to be ready for the family as soon as the ice is out. We plan both around that year-round use.

Tighter lots on smaller lakes mean access and the neighboring property are part of the plan from the start, whether it is a wall replacement or a new pier.

Seawalls, Docks and Ramps Near East Troy

We handle seawall construction and replacement, dock and pier building, and boat ramps on these lakes. For existing walls, we assess whether repair or full replacement is the right call. For piers, we plan around the shallow water and bottom conditions of a smaller lake. See our service pages for how each project works.

East Troy Shoreline Questions

East Troy Marine Construction FAQ

I live year-round on Lake Beulah, can my seawall hold up to winter?

It can, if it is built and maintained for it. Ice shove and freeze-thaw push against walls every winter on these lakes. We assess existing walls for leaning and fill loss, and plan repair or replacement for year-round use.

My Booth Lake lot is small, can you still build a dock there?

Yes. Tighter lots on smaller lakes mean we plan access and the neighboring property into the dock layout from the start. We design the pier around the shallow water and bottom conditions and how your family uses the waterfront.

Do smaller lakes like Army Lake have different pier rules?

Piers are covered by state standards, and many that meet them do not need an individual permit, but the standards depend on the property and the lake. We confirm what applies to your Army Lake property before planning far.

Can you replace an older seawall on Lake Beulah?

We can. We assess whether the wall can be repaired or needs full replacement based on leaning, cracking and fill loss. On a year-round home, replacement is planned so the family is back on the shoreline as soon as possible.

Do you build boat ramps on the East Troy lakes?

We do. Slope, base and the underwater end of the ramp are what hold up against ice and wave action. Ramps on navigable water typically need a DNR permit, so we plan with that in mind.
